Monstrous freak show with circus flair as album illustration.
"A vaudeville show, a freak show with circus flair…" – this was the rough idea with which the band Strict Confidence approached illustrator Ingo Römling. Photos of real people were to be used and integrated into a virtual environment. These virtual worlds in particular, with their great amount of detail, were a real challenge to create."A world full of Ornamentation, decoration, velvet drapes, dusty air, gold, aged wood and corroded metal takes time to create", explains Ingo Römling, who mastered the project by himself.

"CINEMA 4D's much used CINEMA 4D cloth simulation feature made creating the drapes and tarpaulins easy", continues Ingo. "But CINEMA 4D's great connectivity to other applications also sped up workflow. For example, I created some of the organic models in ZBrush and simply imported them into CINEMA 4D. I used CINEMA 4D's Global Illumination feature for the final renderings."

"In addition to the enthralling work in the 3rd dimension I did on the computer – in my case a Mac – the photo sessions were really exciting as well. Together with wife of the band's lead singer, professional models and stage actors we produced fantastic images that I later integrated into virtual environments."
