Here's what's coming up...

HDR Light Studio 1.5
A new improved interface incorporates the new 1.5 features. There’s a taller ‘light list’ to eliminate the need for scrolling in most lighting setups. Icons have been created beside each setting, making it even more intuitive to use and less language dependant. (Even we get mixed up between Latitude and Longitude all the time – doerrr, these icons help)
New Real Lights
NEW Real Lights (Standard and Pro versions only)
HDR Light Studio 1.5 now includes a wide range of ‘Real Lights’ - full HDR captures of studio lighting, including different shapes of soft boxes through to spot lights with barn doors and even some windows. These capture every detail and nuance of the real light sources and will bring new levels of photo realism to your renderings. These images can also be coloured within HDR Light Studio 1.5 – just like adding a coloured gel to your studio light. These real lights can be moved around and are distorted correctly in real-time just like with the original lighting system. So they are perfectly in proportion and not distorted once mapped into your 3D application as a HDR sphere.
Synthetic Lighting
NEW Synthetic Lighting System
We have taken our existing synthetic lighting a stage further. HDR Light Studio 1.0 lights have a fixed graduation from the center of the light. With 1.5 you can now move the position and width of your light bulb to create a vast array of graduation effects. The new system allows the creation of linear, round and lozenge shape graduations with hard or soft edges by simply changing the bulb position, width and fall-off extent. So you can replicate many more real studio lighting effects. It’s still very easy to use but much more powerful!
Synthetic Lighting Examples

New extra light settings provide useful additional controls:

Dark Light Dark Light
Turn on ‘Dark Light’ and the light source will add darkness rather than light. So you can now darken areas of your lighting designs using a light source.

Half Light Half Light
Turn on ‘Half Light’ to simply cut the light in half across the middle - so you can use just the top half. This can be useful for maintaining the vertical alignment of the lights by placing them on the horizon line when you want lighting above the horizon line only. This is useful for bottle/pack shots.

Solid Light Solid Light
Turn on ‘Solid Light’ so your light sits on top of the background graduation and any other lights behind it without them showing through it. By default synthetic lights brightnesses are added together where they overlap with this setting off. New ‘Real Lights’ have this setting turned on by default, so that their black edges and all their details sit on top of any background and background lighting.

Fall Off Outside (Synthetic lights only)
This toggles whether the fall-off finishes ‘inside’ the lights outline shape or ‘outside’. For example a light with fall-off value set to 0% with ‘inside’ will have a soft edge. A light with fall-off set to 0% with ‘outside’ selected with reach 0% at the corners of the light, meaning the light has hard edges. This is a better model for replicating soft boxes. Used in conjunction with the new light bulbs settings you can create a huge amount of new light graduation effects, including a lozenge of light.

Guides New Guides
You can toggle between showing a lat/long set of guide lines in the interface or new cubic guides representing the faces of a cube. These help you map in your mind the 2D workspace into 3D and help you to position the lights where you want them in your 3D scene.

The new HDR Light Studio version 1.5 will take the creation of HDR lighting environments to another level. Allowing the fast creation of lighting setups that are impossible to achieve in photo editing software or within your 3D package.

말그대로 HDRI맵을 만들어 주는 프로그램입니다.
씬연출 할때 좋을듯 합니다. 하이퍼샷 프로그램 제작사 같더군요^^
